Warsaw Polish Restaurant

60-second radio ad

   [SFX]

A busy city street and its sounds fill the background. Traffic, cars, a honking horn, some street-side construction.

   [VOICE]

JOHN (yelling): TAXI!

JOHN: You know, Maggie, every day we go out to lunch and every time it's the [nauseated] same restaurants. Italian, Chinese, Greek. Fast food! Please tell me there's at least one fresh and exciting new place to eat in this city?

MAGGIE: Well, now that you mention it, yeah! My cousin told me that she and her husband found this great little Polish restaurant that just opened up. It's only a few blocks from here. Wanna try it?

JOHN: Polish food, huh? I've never tried Polish food before. Please don't tell me it's anything... [cautiously] weird.

MAGGIE: No [laughing], my cousin doesn't do the 'weird' thing, either. She said they had pierogi, which are like little dumplings, kielbasa, which is Polish sausage, and there was something else... I can't remember what it's called but she said it tasted like a crêpe and was really good.

JOHN: Wow! That's right! I love Polish sausage! What's this place called?

MAGGIE: Now that I did remember. It's called Warsaw, and it's at 2911 East Franklin Street.

JOHN: Forget the taxi--that's right around the corner! Let's go. I'm starved!

The sounds of the city street fade to silence. Then...
